How To Get Your Small Business Website Higher In Google’s Search Results

A great start to increasing your page’s ranking in search results is by adding links that point to your webpage. When links that point to your page have the relevant keyword text in them, it will automatically rank higher in search engine results. For example, a link with the text “Cheap Shoe Store” pointing at your site will result in a higher listing if a visitor searches for “cheap shoe store” than if the link simply says “click here.” Improve the rank of your site by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to your page (Google calls these “important” pages). If your page has 100 quality links leading to it, it will rank higher than another page that has only 20 links.
